Urban tours are the basis of the work of La Liminal, our desire is to explore the city collectively to get closer to its complexity from the many knowledges that intersect in the shared exercise of walking. Starting from this base, we have been working on the design of urban routes through different areas of the city since 2015, which has allowed us today to have nine different routes that you can consult.here.
For all of them, we offer the possibility of doing it with private groups of up to 10 people (according to current security recommendations) on the date and time that best suits you.
On the other hand, if your group is interested in researching or delving deeper into a topic based on the practice of the urban tour, we can also design a tour according to your interests. For more information you can write to info@laliminal.com

CHAMBERÍ AND THE ENTRY INTO MODERNITY
Saturday, November 26 / 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The first decades of the 20th century and the arrival of modernity entail radical changes for women that will bring a progressive female presence in the public arena, from the workplace, to the political sphere or that of intellectual and artistic production. In this tour we will approach some of the spaces in Chamberí where women were opening a new path that allowed them to go beyond the domestic territory and break into the public sphere.

MAPPINGS AND MEMORIES
MEMORIES OF NEIGHBORHOOD STRUGGLES
IN ORCASITES
On December 17,We took the urban tour with which I sharedmos the stories collected over two months, in which we have been working with a group of residents of Orcasitas to delve into the memory of a neighborhood that is a benchmark in the history of neighborhood movements.
There are many testimonies that tell us about that impressive neighborhood mobilization that won permanence in their neighborhood, decent housing, and that even got participation in the design processes of the new Orcasitas. But what are the strategies of the neighborhood struggle? What role do the different people who make up a neighborhood play in it?What was going on behind the mobilizations? How were those fronts of the neighborhood struggle sustained?
with the projectMemories of neighborhood struggles in Orcasitas, carried out with the help of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the collaboration of the Orcasitas Neighborhood Association, We wanted to attend to other struggles, those that occur on a day-to-day basis, to think about this story from another place and value the role that women had from their actions in the field of everyday life.
